Well, I am really excited because there are two new listings this week!  The first one is on Dry Creek Ln.  I have shown it twice and it is really nice.  It is over 1700 sq ft and has hardwood floors, a wood stove, nice large kitchen and large bedrooms.  A very nice home built in 2002 priced at $292,000.  The second house is on Red Bud and is a 2 story home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.  It is in decent shape and has a nice sized yard with a koi pond.  These one is priced at $262,500.  Neither one is a short sale or bank owned property, how nice.!

Chamber Mixer

Realty World-Camelot Winters, Inc hosted the monthly Chamber Mixer tonight and it was another raving success.  We had lots of raffle prizes that people donated and we had lots of chili.  There were eight different kinds of chili so lots of different ones to try.  We had a prize for the hottest, the must unusual and the people’s favorite.  How you were able to make it.

The morning after

Yesterday, one of my very best friends got married.  We have been friends since the first grade and yes, we have graduated from high school.  I am so happy for her.  She was widowed three years ago very unexpectedly.  She met Larry two years ago.  He is a very nice man, a little ridged but nice.  I think they will be very happy together.  This s a picture of them dancing together last June at her daughter, Jaimie’s wedding.  A rare picture as Larry doesn’t like to dance and she just got one dance out of him.  I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

The wedding reception was held in my backyard so we have been very busy getting everything ready for the big event.  My husband is in the middle of walnut harvest and is very busy.  Plus, the north wind blow until 4:30pm so there were leaves all around.  We all had a good time helping them celebrate the special occasion.

Look closely in the background of this picture and you will see the old railroad bridge in Winters.   That is where they got married, overlooking Putah Creek.

Happy Tuesday

Well, it is the day after Cinco de Mayo, hope you all had some Mexican food.  I went to a luncheon with my investment group and we had margaritas, taco salad and shrimp salsa so I felt well celebrated.    I remember when my kids were in grade school and we would all dress up in our Mexican outfits and celebrate.  Winters has a large Hispanic community so we had lots of local resources and had a great time.  Always looking for ways to wear my Mexican garb and I sem to have a lot of it.  www.sandyvickrey.com
