Sandy Tufts Vickrey was born and raised in Winters, CA. She attended San Diego State University and Sacramento State University. She received her BA and a secondary teaching credential from Sacramento State. Sandy taught for three yeas at Winters Middle School and four years at Winters High School, retiring from teaching in 1989. Later that year, she started her career in Real Estate and became a realtor. In 1994 she bought the Realty World franchise in Winters, Realty World – Camelot Winters, Inc.

Sandy and her husband John have been enjoying going to Tahoe to vacation with their three children over the years. They and their three children have enjoyed skiing and snowboarding in the winter and boating in the summer. Their oldest son, Chad and lives and works at Tahoe with his daughter.  Their middle child, Jack, graduated from Penn State in May of 2008.   From 2008 to 2013 he lived in the Monterey area and was employed in the agricultural sales field.  In the summer of 2013 Jack decided to move back to Winters and work with his father in the family walnut farming business. Their youngest, daughter Devon, has attended American River Junior College , Sierra Nevada College and graduated from Portland State University 2013 where she earned her degree in Social Science with a minor in real estate finance.  Devon received her real estate Broker's License in March 2014.
Sandy loves helping people buy and sale real estate and she gets to use some of her teaching skills in the process. Sandy loves the art of putting the real estate deal together. She likes representing Buyers and Sellers and meeting new people. Everyone gets treated like a member of the family. Sandy loves being a professional in real estate.   She has sold, residential homes, farms, country properties and some commercial/industrial pieces around Yolo County.
In June of 2012 Sandy successfully completed the training to earn her Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation.  This means that she has special training to help people with Short Sales.  In 2014 she completed the course work for the National Association of Realtors E-Pro designation.
Also, Sandy provides the only professional property management service in Winters. She currently manages over sixty properties and has been doing so since 1989 when she and her husband bought their first investment property. Sandy feels that real estate is an excellent investment and that now is a great time to buy!
