It’s HOT HOT HOT!

We are going to help a friend celebrate his 60th birthday tonight at Ficelle’s.  Of course, you kow that means outside dining!  No fans overhead, just stars.  Guess I will have to take my spritzer bottle to keep warm and a cold one might be in order.  HOpe you all have a good evening.  Don’t cook, just come to downtown Winters and sip a little wine at Berryessa Gap and Turkovich’s and then have some dinner.  Let’s just face it, it is too hot to heat up the house and a bowl of cereal just isn’t going to cut it to

Bike Riding Through Winters

I found this article in the Outboud section of the Sacramento Bee yesterday and wanted to share it.  I actually had a friend stop by the office today and she had rescued a biker out on Pleasants Valley Rd who was having problems with his bike.  She loaded him into her truck and drove him into town to VeloCity to get the problem fixed.  I asked the gentleman, Craig, if he had seen yesterday’s article and he said, yes, that was why he was in town.  The last I saw him he was headed down to the Putah Creek Cafe for lunch.  Little did he know  John Pickerel was the guest on Kitty O’Neal’s Restaurant Talk today on KFBK 1530 at 3:30pm.  It was fun to listen to John, great job, don’t think I will cook tonight!   http://www.sacbee.com/2010/07/15/2890118/great-rides-out-past-winters-plenty.html
