I am sitting in a class at the Double Tree Inn in Sacramento. James Dwiggins is presenting us with another awesome internet marketing training session exclusiely for Realty World agents. He is such an out of the box thinker. What he has done for us as agents is wonderful. We will have a whole lot of new marketing materials that are cutting edge. I can hardly wait to see what he has come up with now. I will keep you posted.
Well, I spent all of last weekend showing property and it looks like most of this weekend will be spent the same way. However, I did get to go to a fun wedding shower for Erin Autry. It was a “stock the bar” party. Lots of good things to drink and glasses to drink them in. We even got a mini martini shaker as a party favor.
Afterwards, I met one of my clients and showed them some houses. Think we may have found them something. Tomorrow I have 3 appointments with clients. There some good buys out there but they are going fast. Call me if you need some help, I don’t have much time to be ont he computer during business hours.
This morning I was driving to Woodland and I could see teh Suter Buttes, the snow packed Sierra Nevada mounains and the Vaca Mountains. Even though the crazy winds that were predicted, never materialized it was a beautiful dasy. It is Spring and people are looking for new homes and rentals. Life is good so enjoy it.
My daughter, Devon, called today and her school is planning camping trip this weekend to Monterey. It is not mandatory but she is interested ingoing so I am scrambling around finding all the camping gear in a hurry. Never mind that she was here for a good part of last week on Spring Break and she could have done it herself. What are parents/family for?!
Son, Jack is in Minneapolis for training with CH Robinson at their national headquarters. He is having a great time meeting people he has been doing business with but has never met. He loves Minneapolis, much to his surprise, a city he has never been to before.
Just returned from spending an afternoon at the beach in Key West. Someone has a beach concession renting beach chairs and lounges and umbrellas. Perfect for us as we had none of that with us. So, I have now been in the Atlantic Ocean. Delightful to just sit and relax and read and smell the salt air. Recommend it for everyone.
We left Sacramento at 6AM on Saturday morning, way too early in my book, and flew to Houston, then Ft. Lauderdale and last stop, Key West. We arrived around 6:30pm. The weather was perfect. Attached is a picture of the sunset as we were flying down the keys. Ooops, can’t find it now. A great place to visit if you are looking for a vacation idea. There are some Spring Breakers here too. On Sunday we took a walk around town and look what we found hanging from the trees!
I was sitting at the Putah Creek Cafe this afternoonn with my friend Nancy and her daughter, Cathryn, who is visiting from Phoenix. After watching it rain all day and most of the afternoon there was a break in the clouds and blue sky appeared and then this rainbow. Sort of made me feel like there are still some things that are right in this crazy world. Hope this brightens your day too.
